Mother’s Day

Daisy Bookmarks

Mom on the left with a close friend of the family

What a lovely Mother’s Day, sunny and clear. Met up with my parents at church and went out for lunch after. Gave Mom some Hybrid violets… she has a lovely collection. I made these little bookmarks for both Mother and Mother-in-Law. Rather proud of the daisy. I don’t crochet, and I made some duds before these ones.

Came home to mowed and weeded lawn, and some new ebook downloads. I read a lot of 18th and 19th century literature.  The University student, who has no $, spent time searching for novels on my wish list. I think I’ll keep him for another year.
