WIP Weds: Road trip to “The Gathering” in Port Hope Ont Cda

As promised on Friday, my report on The Gathering in Port Hope. Boy was it fun!

Lots of fibre, lots of spinners, and friends :0)

The bonus, DH came along and enjoyed the treats, not so much the fibre. He did look around with me, which I rather enjoyed. Very tolerant man, even encourages the fibreholic somewhat, and admired purchases with appropriate noises.

Superwash merino blend 4 oz

Mohair blend from Wellington fibre 250gms (luscious)

Orange fingering been looking all over for this colour

You know it is a good book when you buy a second copy Oops

I recommend this book, anyone want one? lol

Here are some more pictures straight from Port Hope Ontario Cda

Accompanying you and admiring purchases with the appropriate noises is pretty good. I usually get “Do I have to?”, “Don’t any of your friends want to go?” “Do you really need that?” LOL.

Love the look of that merino blend streaked with pinks!

Nice selection of yarns. Lucky you. I’ve used the orange one and it is lovely to knit with.
