WIP Weds: Flooding in TO, One down!

Toronto is recovering from the worst flooding ever! 126 mm in one hour! More rain than we get in the whole month of July
( 74.4 mm).
Thank goodness we are high and dry east of Toronto in Cda. I used to take this train everyday.

Sea of Dreams Blanket

Didn't get much done on this after chasing about looking for it.

Spent all morning hunting for this little sucker! I had the pattern, but lost the Wip. Looked in all the usual places. Arrgh! Found it behind DH’s chair under some stash!

SPROUT – Growing Roots sweater

I really like this pattern. Simple and straight forward.

All your works are pretty, as usual. I laughed about the wip under the stash! How did you get the “Thanks for visiting” widget?

My husband takes one of the go-trains to work daily too – he works in Mississauga. I was very relieved that was not on his part of the route!

I couldn’t believe how much rain Toronto received. We are SW of Toronto – (Kitchener/Waterloo) area and we received very little rain – it was a shock to hear how much fell in the GTA!

    Your WIP list is busy!!
    Have a great day!

I got home ahead of the flooding which was lucky, since I work west of Kipling Station and was relying on public transit on Monday. Power was only restore at my work after 3pm today!

Your Sea of Dreams blanket is gorgeous!

Congrats on ticking something off the list and freeing up those needles for more yarn goodness. My heavens but your flooding has been horrific! Glad you are safe….
