FO Friday: A Busy Week

Knitting 3

It has been a rather nice week. “The Plan” is chugging along, things are dropping off the WIP list. The weather has been getting fractionally warmer. Still wearing the wooliez, but the sun is out. Been out twice for supper with friends.

Went to the Theatre to see “An Affair to Remember” (starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr) on the big screen. I love old movies, what a treat!

Wednesday: Mile a minute afghan – Done!

Having finished this I completed the first

Lovely & Thick Roses Socks (Jan/Kal)

Having decided that these heavy socks would not fit in my ankle boots, I am making boot cuffs instead.

Book: Darcy and Fitzwilliam by Karen V. Wasylowski

(A continuation of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen)

Finished reading this delightful and unusual take on Mr. Darcy and Colonel Fitzwilliam’s relationship. Totally recommend this slightly off beat book. You may have to acquire it in eformat, as this book was purchased from the last copy shelf. Unfortunately I was so absorbed that my knitting ended up getting ignored.

ooooh, those boot cuffs are perfect. I like them better that way than socks. The kitty blanket is adorable. I bet it was fun seeing the movie on the big screen. I love the old movies too.
